The rise of on-demand content

Updated: Oct 20, 2023

Over the last 12 months we have noticed a real divide in our customer base. Those that want an outsourced, fully fledged, agency approach to PR and content and then those that are potentially on that journey but due to various reasons such as the current climate, operating in a lockdown or being a start-up, they want to lean on us at various points of the year to produce high impact pieces of content to complement their existing campaigns being produced in house. The latter would like to work with us on a contract basis at some point in the future, but currently it works for them to have a service which they can pick up and use on an ad-hoc basis or to support a campaign.

Enter our new press release service. A one stop-shop where you can buy a bespoke written press release to announce some news, a product launch, contract win, new team members some business wins or an important milestone for your company and have it sent to journalists in your target sector. Our team of former journalists will produce a word-perfect release that will give you the very best chance of winning those, all important, column inches. We will then help select and send out the release to your target media using our premium database of journalists. Saving you time to concentrate on what you do best.

Throughout the last year news apps and websites reported astronomical increases in traffic. Traffic to the Financial Times (FT) website grew 250 per cent year-on-year in April 2020 as coverage of the Coronavirus crisis broke new records for the daily title. The FT said the pandemic resulted in its highest ever levels of consumption and engagement online. At Reach, which has a network of 70 national and regional news websites including the Mirror, Express and Star titles, said it had more than 10m page views above average during the pandemic. It’s no secret that the media, locally and nationally, trade and consumers had such a captive audience and influence over how we all consume information.
